 Vidyalaya started in September 28, 1981 with 375 students and 14 sections from class-I to class -VIII and 28 staff members.

 In 1983-84 Vidyalaya arranged Competitions in First All India Schools Drawing and Painting Competitions sponsored by Personality Development Education Society, in which 130 students have participated.

In the year 1999-2000, Primary school of Vidyalaya was adopted by Spastic Society of Northern India in its UNESCO teacher education project to deal with "Special needs in the Classroom".

In 2000, Benita Mary of X -B and Aniket of VIII -A received encouragement prize by the State Environment Minister.
Miss Urmil, PGT Biology, got selected as  teacher representative to participate in Global Environment, Youth Convention 2000which took place in Sweden by Development Alternatives.
In the year 2000-2001, Vidyalaya students got rare oppurtunity of singing National Anthem at the award giving ceremony of National Award for Teachers held at Vigyan Vihar.
