v Vidyalaya is organizing the National Sports Meet 2009 (Shooting) from 16^th Nov. to 20th Nov.2009

· 7 Students Participated in different Events: Boxing, Handball, Table Tennis, Chess, Lawn Tennis in 40^th KVS National Sports Meet 2009.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY

· Kendriya Vidyalaya Masjid Moth celebrated the Annual Sports Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony at the primary school premises on 10 November, 2009.Dr K.K Vashisht, HOD Elementary Education, NCERT and Chairman, Vidyalaya Management Committee was the guest of honour and declared the Sports Day open.

· The hoisting of the school flag was followed by the March Past by the students of different Houses led by their House Captains.

· Mrs.Indu Kaushik Principal welcomed the gathering.

· She reiterated the school’s commitment to the pursuit of excellence and presented the Annual Report on the various activities and achievements of the institution.

· The sports events began in great earnest with the students of classes I to VI competing in Fun Races such as Relay Race, Lemon Race, Book Balance, Three-legged Race, Hurdles, Skipping, Sack Race, Slow Cycling Race etc.

Physical development is equally important in all round education of the students. Students are encouraged to participate in various games and sporting events so as to generate a sense of team spirit and sportsmanship.

v Master Aditya Kalosia of VII c got GOLD MEDAL in Amateur Boxing Organized by Delhi Amateur Association.

The students participated in the Regional Sports Meet 2009 in events like Swimming, Boxing, Table tennis, lawn Tennis, , Chess and Handball.

· Regional Sports Meet 2009:-from 27.10.09 to 29.10.09

Ø 120 Students Participated in Regional Sports Meet at Different Venue.

Swimming:-

1. Ritika VIII C Won Brooz Medal for Brest Strok

2. Swapnil XD Won Back Medal for Back Strok.

Boxing :-

1. Rahul Panwar XII A, David XI A, Ankit Paul VIII A Won Bronze Medal .

2. Aditiya VII B Won Gold Medal (Junior), Tejender Kapoor XI D Won Gold Medal (Senior).

Lawn Tennis:-

1. Rahul Bharti , Gaurav Bhatia (Double) Won Silver Medal.

2. Gaurav (Single) Won Gold Medal .

Table Tennis:-

1. Sandeep VIII C Won Silver Medal in Junior.

Chess :-

1. Jyotish XI D Won Gold Medal .
