Genesis of KV Masjid Moth
K V Masjid Moth, one of the premier co-educational institute was established in the year 1981 with 375 students on roll and 14 sections form Class I to VIII and 28 staff members. There was no student building and thus school was run in tents. The school is under CBSE Board and the medium of instruction for Science & Math is English and Social

Sciences is Hindi/English.

From a humble beginning in tents, to the present impressive and well-maintained buildings in peach, rust and green colors, set in a manicured garden and abundant playing fields, the school has made rapid strides in all fields of education. At present, it has strength of 1638 students. The school was started in 1981.

From 1981 to the present, the school has been fortunate to have had strong and committed Principals, who have helped KVMM to achieve its present pre-eminent position different from other KVs. Classes I to Vth are having 3 sections each and Classes VI to XII are having 4 sections each. The KV is in Civil Sector and South Delhi District.

Important milestones of growth

	Gradual Expansion of School and Scholastic Achievements in Board Results.
	K.V.Masjid Moth was the first K.V. to start Spic-Macay Programme in the year 1997 & invited artists like Bismillah Khan.
	K.V. Masjid Moth was the first school in which INTEL introduced computers as tools of education at school level in the year 1999.

Year Wise Expansion
By the year of 1983, school grew into sizable institution with more than 750 students on roll and 43 teaching and non-teaching staff members. The gradual growth was not only quantitative but also qualitative. The first batch of Class X passed out in 1985 and XII in 1988. The main school building spread on an area of 5 acres was acquired in the year 1988 and later on the primary building was built in the area where the school was running in tents. It was then 3 sections school till Xth and 2 sections of XI and XIIth. Humanities Section was introduced in 1994 and Commerce in 2000. In the year 2004, as per the instructions of KVS one section was added to all the classes from VI to X. However, primary section still has 3 sections per class. Today, The school has four sections from VI to X and 5 in XI and XII with the opening of FMM section in the year 2008.

	PRIMARY BUILDING (CLASS I TO V)
	(i)	Primary building is well equipped with assembly ground, children park an indoor stadium. It also has well equipped Computer lab and an Audio –Visual Room.

	SECONDARY BUILDING ( CLASS VI – XII)
	(i)	Secondary Building is well Equipped with Assembly and Tiffin Area, Playgrounds, Beautifully maintained Garden, Canteen, Well equipped labs, Resource Room, Language Lab, 2 Computer Labs and Well Furnished Spacious Class Rooms. Besides Principal’s Residence is also there in the School Campus.
