On 17 October 2011 Under SPIC MACAY Virasat 2011 Ms. Uma Sharama the
noted Kathak Dancer of International Fame performed at KV Masjid moth, Sadiq
Nagar and enthralled the audience with her magical performance. She
performed anecdotes from the Ramayana, Krishna Leela & Mahishasur Mardini.
Various Mudras were showcased & explained elaborately, and finally it was
the interactive session with the students who put up various questions &
were answered by her. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Sh. S.K. Verma
Deputy Commissioner KVS(DR). Finally the distinguished Chief Guest spoke
on the cultural heritage of the country & the performance of Ms. Uma Sharma
that left every one spell bound. |

42nd National Level Sports Meet(Girls) 2011
has been organized by KVS from 8.10.11 to 12.10.11. The inaugural ceremony
was held on 8.10.11 at Thyagaraj Sports Complex, New Delhi. Smt. Sheila
Dixit, Hon’ble Chief Minister (NCR) Delhi, was the Chief Guest on this
occasion and Shri. Avinash Dikshit (I.D.A.S.) Commissioner KVS presided over
the function. The inaugural function was successfully organized by Shri. S.K.
Verma, Deputy Commissioner KVS, Delhi Region.
The Kendriya Vidyalaya Masjid Moth, Sadiq Nagar has been
given the privilege to host National Table Tennis (Girls) and Shooting
(Girls) Competitions during this Sports Meet. Around 271 participants of
different Kendriya Vidyalayas from all over India are participating in these
Competitions. There are total of 18 contingents for each event competing in
these competitions. The table tennis matches for U-14, U-17 and U-19 are
organized at the premises of KV Masjid Moth Sadiq Nagar, while the shooting
event is going on at Siri-Fort Shooting Range. The results of these
Competitions will be finalized by 11.10.2011, before the closing ceremony of
this National Meet on 12.10.2011.
Closing Ceremony was held at Thayagaraje Stadium at 12
Oct'2011 at 3:00 p.m.
